The recipients are featured on TV One’s Seven Sharp programme.
Chris Moverley is an amazing woman, a wonderful wife and an extraordinary mother. She is facing the reality of a Stage 4 ovarian cancer diagnosis with resolute positivity. She recently made the decision to stop all cancer treatment when it was clear it was not helping, and indeed, was making her too ill to enjoy the rest of her time with her family - husband Lou and nine year old daughter, Siena.
Wanting to ensure they create special memories for Sienna as a family, Chris and her husband, Lou, have decided to take a once in a lifetime family trip together. They want to see orangutans in Singapore, ride horses in Hyde Park and visit Disneyland in Paris. To make this happen, Chris and Lou have worked every minute of the day to turn this dream into a reality for their daughter – no matter how far it stretched the family finances.
We heard about Chris’ touching story and knew we wanted to do everything we could to help. So we’ve blown the budget on this one and have paid for all flights, accommodation, activities and given them spending money to make sure all they need to do is enjoy themselves, without worrying about the budget.
