Share trading minimum holding requirements
Before you buy or sell shares, it's good to know the minimum holding requirements. This is the minimum amount of shares or units you must hold in a security after you complete a trade (unless you're selling your entire holding).
Minimum holding requirements on the NZX
Issuers of securities on the NZX enforce their own minimum holding requirements. Where an issuer has not specified a Minimum Holding, then there is no required minimum.
Please note that, while ASB Securities will update the below exceptions when it is notified of a change to an Issuer’s minimum holding requirements, the minimum holdings applied by individual NZX Issuers may differ to those disclosed below.

Minimum holding requirements on the ASX
There are no minimum holding requirements enforced by the Australian Exchange, however Finclear require a minimum investment amount of approximately AUD$500.00.
