Bay of Plenty residents will be able to do their banking whenever they choose with the opening of a new ASB seven day branch in Tauranga tomorrow.
The opening of the branch in Tauranga Crossing mall on Taurikura Drive will be celebrated on Thursday 4 October with in-branch activities, face-painting and giveaways, as well as a blessing led by local kaumatua.
Amanda Young, general manager branch banking says the new branch at Tauranga Crossing will give customers access to ASB's full range of banking services in a thriving development, and marks the next stage of ASB's investment in the area.
"We're thrilled to be opening a full-service, seven-day branch at Tauranga Crossing where we can look after the needs of retail and business customers in the area.
"Our branch strategy is to invest in areas of business and population growth and we're looking forward to being part of this dynamic community," Young says.
The celebrations will be part of the official opening of Stage one of the new mall, with 14 other retailers also opening their doors for the first time.
ASB customers will be able to enjoy the latest digital banking services including 24-hour automated 'express banking' transaction facilities, business banking, video access to ASB's comprehensive team of banking experts and smart ATMs which allow cash deposits, money transfer between accounts and cheque clearance.
