Paying Inland Revenue online

You can pay personal income tax, as well as business taxes like GST and payroll, easily via ASB FastNet internet banking. You can also make other Inland Revenue payments, like KiwiSaver, student debt repayments and child support.

Why pay Inland Revenue with FastNet internet banking?

If you're making a payment to Inland Revenue as an individual or business, different types of payments need to go to different Inland Revenue numbers, with the right references. Paying these via online banking means your tax gets paid directly to the correct Inland Revenue account, taking some of the hassle out of the process.

Inland Revenue will normally receive your payment the same day. If you make the payment after hours, they may not receive it until the next day.

What details will you need?

You'll need the following six things in order to pay Inland Revenue via FastNet internet banking:

  • Your IRD number
  • The type of tax or payment you're making (e.g. GST or Income Tax)
  • The period covered by the payment, if applicable
