How long does it take for an International Money Transfer to arrive at the other bank?
Last Updated: 27 Nov 2015
In most cases funds will arrive one or 2 business days after they are sent. However, these timeframes are a guide only. If funds haven't been received within 10 business days of being sent we recommend a search be requested by the sender.
You can request a search by calling us on 0800 803 804, sending us a secure message request from FastNet Classic 'My Messages', or by visiting any ASB branch.
Include as much detail as you can from the following:
- The amount of the IMT and the currency used
- Date the IMT was sent
- The IMT reference number (available on your receipt)
- The beneficiary name and address, beneficiary account and the beneficiary bank for the IMT
