How to update your details in the ASB Mobile Banking app and in FastNet Classic internet banking

You can update your personal details including email, contact number and address through the ASB Mobile Banking app and FastNet Classic internet banking. Keeping your contact details up to date allows ASB to know how and where to send important documents.

Update an existing address

  1. Update your home or other postal addresses by selecting Update next to the address you wish to update.

    Note: When you select Update it will only update the address you have selected. This will not update any other existing addresses.

    Tip: Send all your post here? Will update other postal addresses that you have permission to update. For ASB life, health, and income protection insurance policies, please call us on 0800 272 543. For other ASB insurance policies, please call us on 0800 803 804 (or +64 9306 3000 from overseas).

  2. Start entering your new address. If your address appears in the drop-down select it.
    Select Save address. Your address should now be updated.

    Tip: If your address does not appear in the drop-down then select Enter manually from the drop-down.

  3. Select the type of address you want to enter and fill in the required fields.

    Tip: You can select from either Rural, PO Box, Private Bag or Overseas address type.
    Select Save address. Your new address has now been added.

Verify an existing address

Verify your home address by uploading an acceptable PDF document that is an electronic original less than 700KB and less than 12 months old.

  1. Click/tap on Verify this address in the Home address tile.

  2. Click/tap the dropdown arrow to select a document type.

  3. Click/tap on the Choose a document to pick the document from a local file folder on your computer or your smart phone.

  4. Once the selected document is chosen and displaying on screen, click/tap Upload document.

Once uploaded the document will have to be reviewed by ASB and we will let you know if there is anything else you might need to do.

Add an additional address

  1. In the address section of your personal profile select Add another address.

  2. Start typing in your new address. If your address appears in the drop-down select it and click Next.

  3. Select the accounts you want to add the address to.

    Note: You can also choose whether you would like marketing communications to be sent to this address.

  4. Select Save address. Success, your new address has now been added.

Manage your postal options

These steps only need to be completed should you want to specify different postal addresses for individual bank accounts.

  1. Manage where your important documents are sent by selecting Manage postal options.

  2. Select Update next to the address that you want to update.

    Note: You can individually assign postal addresses for specific bank accounts.

  3. Start typing in your new address. If your address appears in the drop-down select it and click Next.

  4. Click Save address. Success. Your new address has now been added.
