Canny joined ASB in 2004 and has specialised in business and commercial banking since 2005.
She brings to the role rich business experiences from China, a first degree in Industrial Foreign Trade from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from Massey University. With her in-depth knowledge of banking and unique insight into the New Zealand Asian business community, she has built an impressive reputation for delivering innovative and robust banking solutions for her clients.
During her time with ASB, Canny has won the Commercial 'Top Gun' Award four times in the last five years and was awarded second runner-up for ASB's 2016 CEO Excellence Award.
Canny is responsible for developing the ASB Commercial Asian Banking Strategy and leading ASB Commercial and Property Finance Asian teams. Her focus has been advocating ASB in the New Zealand Asian market and excelling in client experiences. Canny and her team are highly regarded as industry leaders by peers and many other professionals.
