One in three young people who contact Youthline are at high risk of harm, and more clinical staff are urgently needed to help.

Easy ways you can donate
Donate online
It's easy to donate online with a credit or debit card at youthlineappeal.nz.
All donations will automatically receive an official tax receipt.
Donate the Change
You can donate your change, as well as save it. Just update your 'Save the change' setup in the ASB Mobile Banking app. Find it under 'More options' on your transactional account, click 'Add charity to donate' and select Youthline.
Donate True Rewards
Donate True Rewards dollars by signing in to True Rewards through FastNet Classic internet banking, selecting 'True Rewards online store' and following the 'Charity donations' prompts.
Donate direct from your account
Log in to FastNet Classic internet banking, or the ASB Mobile Banking app, search YOUTHLINE AUCKLAND CHARITABLE TRUST under 'Add a payee > Search for a registered payee' and donate from there.
Text to donate
Simply text ASB to 5144 to donate $3 to Youthline.
Youthline and ASB
Youthline offers free mental health support (via text, phone, webchat and email), counselling, and youth mentoring programmes to young Kiwi aged 12-24 throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
ASB became Youthline's principal partner in 2022, and together we've helped bring on overnight counsellors, so young people can reach out to Youthline's free and confidential Helpline, 24/7.

ASB is matching donations to Youthline Auckland Charitable Trust (CC21032) via the Eligible Donation channels below between the dates of 1st February 2025 to 30th April 2025, up to a maximum total of NZ$150,000.
Eligible Donation channels:
- Online donations made at youthlineappeal.nz
- Donations made using ASB Donate the Change
- Donations made using ASB True Rewards dollars
- Text donations (Text ASB to 5144 to donate $3 to Youthline)
- ASB staff payroll giving
All donations will be used to support the funding of the 24/7 national helpline service, available free of charge to young people across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Donation receipts
A donation receipt is a document that a charitable organisation can issue to a donor who makes a donation of over $5 in New Zealand. You can use these receipts to claim tax back on a donation. You will be issued a donation receipt when you make an online donation at youthlineappeal.nz.
Donation receipts cannot be issued for text donations, ASB staff payroll giving, or donations made using ASB True Reward dollars. If you have donated more than $5 through ASB Donate the Change, you can request a donation receipt from Youthline. You will need to provide your full name, amount donated and the date(s) as a reference so they can identify the donations(s) you have made.
