Do I need my PIN when I use Fitbit Pay?
Last Updated: 01 Dec 2021
Fitbit Pay works like all contactless Visa Debit and Visa credit cards, so there's no need to enter a PIN when paying for things under $200. Payments over $200 will require you to enter your card PIN at the terminal.
There may be instances where you won’t be prompted to enter your card PIN for payments over $200, depending on the terminal being used. This is because Fitbit has added security which requires you to enter a security code every 24 hours or when the Fitbit has been removed from your wrist.
