Reset your password
If you have forgotten your online banking password or need to change it, you can reset it in the ASB Mobile banking app.

Step 1. Open asb.co.nz and select Log In
Step 2. Select Forgot your password?
Step 3. Type in your Username. If you can’t remember your Username, click the "?" for next steps.
Step 4: Type in your Date of birth and select Continue.
Step 5: Two-step verification.
If you've used the right username and date of birth, you'll be sent a text message with a verification code to use.
If you have a physical Netcode token, this will be the default option and you can enter the code from your Netcode token at this step.
If you'd prefer to receive a verification code via text, you can select Use text message.
If you haven't received the text message within 10 seconds, you can select Resend code for a new code to be sent to you.
Step 6: Enter your new password.

Step 7: Select Change password
Step 8: Great! You have successfully reset your password.
