How to set up a term investment using FastNet Classic internet banking

  1. Log in to FastNet Classic internet banking and click on Open and apply.

  2. Click on Term and fund deposit

  3. Select View to see the current rates and terms.

  4. Choose an account you want to open your investment under.
    Tip: If you’re not sure what a particular field is, hover over the blue tool tip for information.

  5. Choose whether you would like to open a Term Deposit or Term Fund account.

  6. Select whether you’re a NZ tax resident or not.

  7. Update your tax details if required and select Continue.

  8. Enter the amount you want to invest.

  9. Select which account you want to take the funds from.

  10. Select Show my options to view current rates and terms and select the term you want.
    Tip: You can specify a custom term by selecting Or choose your own term.

  11. Choose how you would like your interest paid, then select Continue.

  12. You can personalise the name of your investment if you want.

  13. Choose what you would like to do at maturity of your investment and select Continue.

  14. Check that the details of your investment are correct and select Open Term Deposit.
