Can I access my money before the maturity date on a term deposit or ASB Term Fund?
Last Updated: 01 Dec 2016
Term deposit
With a term deposit you can access your money earlier, but you’ll have to give us 31 days’ notice or apply for an early withdrawal under ASB’s hardship application process. A reduced rate of interest will be applied to the amount withdrawn early.
ASB Term Fund account
You won’t be able to make an early withdrawal from an ASB Term Fund, except in exceptional circumstances approved by ASB. There will be a break fee if you withdraw early from an ASB Term Fund.
