Can I use Google Pay if I report my ASB Visa card as lost?
Last Updated: 18 Oct 2024
Yes, you can continue using Google Pay from the next day.
If you currently use Google Pay, when you call ASB to report your physical card as lost, your physical card will be deactivated, and a replacement card will be posted.
Your replacement card details will be updated on your Google Wallet overnight and you will be able to use Google Pay on your device from around 5 am the next day. Your Device or Virtual Account Number will remain the same.
You can also lock and replace your ASB Visa card using ASB Card Control in the ASB Mobile Banking app or replace your card using FastNet Classic internet banking.
