How long does it take to receive funds from another bank into my ASB account?
Last Updated: 29 May 2023
Payments will generally be received the same day they were sent as banks will exchange payments throughout the day. This will occur at least every hour from 9am to midnight, every day including weekends and public holidays. However, if the payment has been made after midnight, funds may not arrive and be processed until the morning of the following day. The exact time of day a payment transaction is received by customers, or deducted from an account, can vary between banks. Also, the cut-off times for processing payment instructions from customers can vary between banks.
