What proof of address do I need to open a new account?
Last Updated: 27 Jun 2016
If you are a new customer to ASB, you’ll need to provide proof of your physical address, which is current and original. This is a legal requirement to protect you and ASB. For individuals, we have a guide to what proof of address is required.
If you are an entity, we need proof of the physical and registered address of the entity as well as the individuals associated with it. Refer to the relevant guide for your business type.
If you are already an ASB customer and are registered for internet banking, you can open an account in FastNet Classic without providing further proof of address. If you’re not already registered, and would like to be, follow our handy guide.
