Will I be covered under my ASB Visa Platinum Travel Insurance policy if I have a pre-existing condition?

Any pre-existing conditions, diagnosed or not, are automatically excluded from the policy. However, you can contact AIG to apply for cover of pre-existing conditions by visiting www.asbtravel.co.nz. If the condition(s) are covered and you want the Pre-Existing Condition Cover to apply, then a premium will be charged. AIG will confirm the outcome in writing.
ASB's lending criteria and terms apply. Please refer to the ASB Visa Platinum Travel Insurance Policy for full details. If you are 76 years of age or over, you are not eligible for cover under the base policy, but may be able to purchase Mature Age Cover to receive travel insurance benefits. Other exclusions or limitations apply.
