I'm in FastNet Classic, how do I know if an online payment has reached my payee?
With Bill or One-Off Payments, we'll prompt you on screen to check you intend to make the payment you have set up. With One-Off Payments, check the account details of your payee carefully to ensure you are paying the right person.
Then check your list of transactions in the Statement feature after you've made your online payment (or on your selected payment date). Your payment should appear in your list of transactions, as a debit. This shows the payment has left your account.
Your payee's receiving bank controls when your payee receives the payment in their account, generally this is the next working day. Normally, payees who also bank with ASB will receive the payment straight away.
If you have any concerns, please either contact the payee directly, or contact us on 0800 FASTNET (0800 327 863) or + 64 9 306 3185 if you are calling from overseas and we will do all we can to help.
