Can I make and view IRD payments using FastNet Classic?
Inland Revenue made changes on April 2020 to the tax types you will use when making an IRD payment. If you are unsure what tax type to use, please contact the Inland Revenue.
You can make all types of payments to Inland Revenue through FastNet Classic internet banking, including PAYE Tax Deductions, GST, Income Tax or Provisional Tax, Child Support and Student Loans, plus others.
To make a tax payment:
- Log in to FastNet Classic.
- Select 'Make a payment'.
- Select 'IRD Payment'.
- Select a Tax Type from the drop down menu and follow the instructions.
Have your IRD number handy. You’ll need to enter this for whichever tax you are paying and you’ll need to know the end date of the period you are paying. (i.e. March 2020). You can arrange payments to occur up to 12 months in advance.
For your convenience, you can view all upcoming IRD payments by clicking on IRD Payments in the menu.
If you need further help with tax payments, please contact the Inland Revenue, or visit www.ird.govt.nz.
