I’m enrolled in the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme, can I still get the annual Government contribution if I’m on a savings suspension?
Last Updated: 31 Mar 2020
Yes. If you are on a savings suspension, you can still get the annual Government contribution (also known as a member tax credit) if you're elligible; however you'll need to make voluntary contributions of at least $1,042.86 during the year to get the maximum Government contribution of $521.43. Making voluntary payments won’t affect your savings suspension.
