Do I have to update my Netcode if my phone number changes?
Last Updated: 07 Dec 2022
Yes, if you change your mobile number, then your Netcode will also have to be updated so that we can send it to your new number.
For your security and protection, you're not able do this online, but you can easily update it if you have the ASB Mobile Banking app.
Here’s how:
- Log in to the ASB Mobile app.
- On the accounts screen, tap 'More' at the bottom right.
- Next tap 'Settings', then 'General'.
- Finally tap 'Mobile numbers' to update the number we send Netcode to.
Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 327 863, or if you're overseas +64 9 306 3000 between 8:00am and 8:00pm, or 8:30am and 5:00pm on weekends and public holidays NZ time. We'll ask you some security questions to establish you are you and update your details so you can receive Netcode on your new number.
Or visit any ASB branch, and the staff will be happy to help you.
