If I have a payment to my credit card pending, will I still be charged interest on the entire outstanding balance?
Last Updated: 21 Dec 2015
If interest is being charged on your credit card, it is incurred on the daily balance.
The daily balance reduces when the payment is credited to your account, not while it is showing as pending, so make your payment before 8:30pm in order for it to be taken into account on the daily balance.
