On my credit card statement, why has the balance transfer amount reduced less than the payment I made this month?
Last Updated: 01 Dec 2016
When a payment is made to an ASB credit card account, the payment is allocated to transaction types according to a hierarchy. If you have undertaken a balance transfer – how your payment is allocated to your outstanding balance may be different to what you expected. Refer to the 'Allocation of payments' sections in the Credit Card Conditions of Use for details.
