How do I check a Direct Debit that I didn't authorise which has come from my account?
Last Updated: 30 Sep 2014
For questions about Direct Debits that you have authorised, you need to speak to the business or person you authorised to debit your account.
If your account is debited and you didn’t authorise a deduction, or you previously requested the Direct Debit be deleted; we can trace the authority to confirm the authorisation. You will need to speak to us about this by calling 0800 803 804 or by visiting any ASB branch.
Deleting a Direct Debit Authority will stop further deductions from your account under that authority. However, deductions may begin again if you gave someone more than one authorisation, or you provided them with a new authorisation.
