How do I get a new PIN on my Visa credit card or debit card?
Last Updated: 01 Nov 2019
You can change or set up your Visa credit or debit card PIN online if you're registered for Netcode. Here’s how:
In FastNet Classic internet banking:
- You need to be registered for Netcode as during this process you'll be prompted to enter a Netcode
- Click on your Personal Profile (your name at the top right-hand side of your screen) and select Card PIN
- From the Card Type drop down box, select the card for which you’d like to change the PIN
- Follow the prompts to create a PIN. Note - the key pad is scrambled
In the ASB Mobile Banking app:
- Your device needs to be Netcode-verified
- In the menu, click on Cards & devices
- Select your card from the list
- Click on Update PIN
- Follow the prompts to create a PIN
You can also call us on 0800 803 804 or +64 9 306 3000 (if you are overseas). Alternatively, visit any ASB branch and we’ll be happy to help.
