Why do I need to verify my identity for my Personal Profile?

Verifying your identity helps us to confirm your identity as required by the New Zealand Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) laws.
The simplest way to do this is by either using your current and valid e-passport (recommended), or your New Zealand driver licence and the ASB ID app.
