Will I get a new credit card number if I change my ASB credit card type?
If you are changing your ASB Visa credit card between an ASB Visa Rewards, ASB Visa Light or ASB Visa Flex, then you will not be issued a new ASB Visa credit card. You can keep the same number and continue to use your card just as you do currently, with no need to update anyone you regularly pay.
In all other instances when you are changing your credit card to another ASB Visa credit card, then you will be issued with a new card and new card number. You will receive this in the post within 5 to 7 working days of requesting the transfer. Once you receive your new card remember to contact anyone you regularly pay with your new card details. Any joint or additional cardholders will also be issued new ASB Visa credit cards.
